REVIEW: Canadian monthly dog box subscription BOWZER BOX had #tailwaggersteam ceo Mylo the boxer at #WOOF!
July is a very special month for Tail-Waggers, it is Canada’s birthday and we get to dress up with the doggies to embrace our love for Canada. Well, BowzerBox had us at WOOF with the big news inside July’s box! The boxers Mylo and Chico were super excited when the box arrived, it looked like they knew something very special was in it. Once we opened the box, well actually I did..haha! I saw a rope, my first thought was…WOW my boys are gonna love it, and when I realized it was a BOWZER Rope Bone I was like double WOW! {Well done Bowzer Team!} Check out this short clip showing the LOVE at first sight between the boxers and Bowzer Box *wink-wink*
If you are new to this blog or to BowzerBox, let me tell you that they are the first Canadian company offering dog subscription box services. They deliver to your door a box of doggy goodies every month and they donate 10% of their profits to animals less fortunate. These guys have a big heart, don’t believe me? Check out the list of places they’ll be donating boxes to help with fundraising events at the end of this post.
Now, let’s get down to what our July box included
{UNO) Northern Pet Products -Northern Bark Dental Chew $1.99
This is a natural Applewood treat though exterior is great for polishing teeth, while the oats and rice are gentle on tummies. Mylo and Chico tried it before and they were so happy to try it out again. I love that is wheat free. A must try!
{DOS} Bowzer Box Rope Bone $4.99 & $9.99
This is an 100% cotton , unbleached rope made in Canada. As a mom of two boxers that love tug-of-war, I can tell the quality is really good and the price is reasonable. We tested this rope with some of our clients while out dog walking and they loved it too, specially Burger the boxer, whom greeted us at the door carrying the toy. So cute!
{TRES} K9 Kelp Conditioning Spritz $14.99
For a while I’ve been following K9 Kelp, not only they have boxers dogs in their crew, but they also seem to be an option for a natural source of products. So, when I unwrapped the bottle and realized it was one of their products, I was very happy! Meanwhile the boxers kept on playing with the Bowzer Rope Bone..haha! I guess everyone got something in this July box *wink-wink*. The Conditioning Spritz is a natural mixture that will help your dog to freshen up if he dislikes bathing. I tried it on both of my boys, Chico suffers of allergies and he gets a nasty smell pretty often, well this product came in handy as I had some people coming over. Everyone thought he took a bath that day…hehe! I guess they will find out the true here. I will definitely be looking into trying their other products, specially the shampoo and Premium Kelp Supplement Blend
{CUATRO} Carna4 Sproty Squares $10.99
This product was highly recommended when I was looking into switching my dogs to a raw diet but I didn’t have the chance to grab it back then. The Sprouty Squares are made from sprouted seeds, liver, barley and oats. This treats are also packed with probiotics, vitamins and minerals and my guys enjoyed it very much! Their selection of products is large and their site has allot of information.
{CINCO} Amore Pet Foods Mega Morsels Beef & Veggie (sample)
I wasn’t sure if it was a treat or food, but it came really handy as I used it to snap a mini photo shoot with Mylo to get the cover photo for this blog. He wanted it and was drooling for it. Once visiting their website, I found out they sell raw. I have my boys on raw, so this will definitely be a product that I would like to learn more about it. I like the idea of being a non-medicated and hormone-free product.
{SEIS} PIP 1 year subscription to Pet Recognition App $18.99 one year subscription
The PiP app for iPhone and Android uses facial recognition technology to re-unite lost pets with their owners. Should your pet ever become lost, activating the Amber Alert System will ensure your furry friend quickly finds their way home. I downloaded the app and registered Chico for it. I haven’t been able to set up all his profile but I did see many people are using it and I was happy to find some happy ending stories. Yay!
{SIETE} This & That Poop Bag Roll (sample)
I first met This & That products, owners and doggies ambassadors a few years ago. Great folks and my guys love their antlers and Everest Chew. I was happy to see the sample of poop bags. If you have a chance, i hardly recommend to check the variety of products on their website. #Woof
