I have to confess, I look forward to every 15th of the month because I know anytime soon the email delivery notification from BowzerBox will be in my inbox. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this month we celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving and also Halloween. So, I was wondering which theme BowzerBox team will pick. Well, surely the #bowzerbox pups were not disappointed at all.
Our box was in the mailbox yesterday and this weekend we have a guest. It was so much fun to share the “BowzerBox Openning Day” with little Andy. Him, Mylo and Chico certainly had a blast and yes, Andy went home with some yummy treats. Wondering what was in this month’s BowzerBox? Keep reading to learn more about it.
{WHAT IS INSIDE}
Just after the 15th of each month, you’ll receive an email from Canada Post letting you know your Bowzer Box is on its way and the approximately delivery date. The box is delivered to your door and each month the box is put together based on a “theme” and includes a flyer with information of each item inside the BowzerBox.
October theme was “Thanks-O-Ween!”, to celebrate everything between Thanksgiving & Halloween.
Zombiez Screaming Sam
Just in time for Halloween, the BowzerBox pups get to play with a ghoulish character of the Zombiez line from Quaker Pet Group. This was the first item Mylo and Chico picked out of the box. | $11.99 -$15.99} Watch the dogs opening up their October BowzerBox here.
Turkey Treats
WOW factor! Kudos BowzerBox and Darford.com for the yummy treats and the nice baggy size. These treats are a way for your dog to enjoy all the Thanksgiving ingredients without getting into trouble. $9.99
PegeTables
This is a premium dental dog chew made with natural vegetables like carrot, sweet potato and peas. I haven’t decided yet which dog will have it. Chico has a vet appointment this week and I think I will then give it to Mylo to try it out. I like they are grain-free & gluten-free. The products are made in the U.S.A. $2.49
Pumpkin Bark
Northern Pet Products was in our box this month and they cause a “drooling reaction” with the boxers! These pumpkin flavoured wheat-free dental chews help to fight plaque, tartar and gum disease. The two dental chews included in the box were greatly appreciated from all the doggies at this home. $3.98
Sweet Taters
Another WOW factor! The sweet taters bag size was greatly appreciated. These treats are sweet potato and are a good fit for dogs with meat protein allergies or diet restrictions. It was nice to discover this company in this month’s box. After reading more about them, found out they work with only raw materials from North American suppliers and packaged in New Brunswick, Canada. We do not use chemical additives or preservatives and they support animal health and welfare organizations. $6.99
Head-Lite Key Chain plus + 25% off and free shipping from their webstore
Bonus item. Certainly with all the holidays happening this month, the Head-Lite Key Chain was a nice touch to remind us about Fall back on November 2nd. Check out some tips to help your dog to transition to the new schedule here. Head-Lites is a Canadian company based in Winona and their products will help you keep your dog safe at night the LED dog collar technology.

{WHAT IS THE VALUE FOR MONEY}
A six months subscription cost $23 plus $4.50/month flat delivery rate. This month the approximately value was $41.42 if I go and buy each individual item. This number doesn’t include taxes and driving costs. Even if you are to subscribe for only one month to try it out at $29, you’ll see the value. I hardly suggest you sign up for a 3 or 6 months subscription. Christmas is just around the corner!
I had many people saying the delivery charge makes a noise for them, specially if you look at other companies out there offering free shipping or merely adding the cost within the box fee. My comment to that is, do your homework and you’ll notice BowzerBox come cheeper or at almost the same fee others companies charge if you consider exchange rate. Also, don’t forget the budget friendly shipping fee goes towards facilitating the email delivery notification you’ll receive to let you know when the product will be delivered. Perfect to arrange pick ups when you know you’ll be out of town or just too busy.
