Christmas is in the air and with that, we welcome the seasonal home decor which includes plants and flowers. Today we want to share some tips for a Pet Friendly Holiday Home Decor plus a FREE checklist that you can print and have around for whenever you need it.
{UNO} Posineta, holly and misletoe are traditional plants during the Holiday season, keep in mind they are very poison for your dogs.
{DOS} When decorating your home ensure they are out of reach of your pets by have them on a high platform where dogs are unable to access them.
{TRES} Make sure any dropped leaves or flowers are promptly removed.
{CUATRO} If possible avoid glass ornaments that can be easy broken as they can break easily and harm your dog if he gets to them before you realize they broke. I love the woodland creatures collection at Pier Imports.
{CINCO} Also check the lights for bite marks and loose wiring, specially if you leave your dog loose in the house when you are not home.
{SEIS} Keep those eyes open when having guests over. Be aware of the door opining and closing often. Ensure your dog has his tags on in case he decides to go for a solo walk.
