Hello and welcome back! Today I am sharing cruelty free and sustainable finds for daily beauty care
I admit, finding cult beauty buys that are not tested on animals is not an easy task. So when I go shopping, I use a few apps that will help me find out if a product is free cruelty or not. However, the goodies I am about to mention were presented to me at random scenarios that I would like to call serendipity. As an animal lover, mother of two and nanny of many, I want to do what is right and sustainable by my furry love ones, and of course I want to share with you that it is possible to find alternatives that guarantee to do the job, or even better, than the products tested on animals.
{UNO} AVEDA
I discovered Aveda when visiting P & P Hair Company in Toronto for my spring hair style. Aveda’s mission is to
connect beauty, environment and well-being. I’ve used their shampoo colour conserve and the daily colour protector. I am completely happy with the results and the best part of it is the product hasn’t been tested on animals.
{DOS} THE KRA.CO
Pina and Lucy Santoro provide a fresh take on beauty, body and building with their 100% Natural Shea Butter from Northern Ghana. I’ve tried the Lip Tints, Lip Balm and the Shea Butter. I really like that Kra Co. is committed to ‘paying it forward’, helping others be and feel fabulous, and by contributing to causes that affect us all. You can check las month The Kra.Co newsletter here or visit their website.
{TRES} RODAN+FIELDS
Rodman + Fields has been recognized by PETA as a cruelty free company and they offer anti-aging skincare products. I’ve tried a mini facial kindly provided by Lori Franze and I was very happy with the results of the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste and the Night Renewing Serum. Their website has a tons of great information and you can always contact Lori for more details.
I hope you found this information useful and don’t forget to share YOUR favourite cruelty free or sustainable products in the comments below!
